The 21-year-old defender joins the newly promoted side after leading the Bucs' DStv Diski Challenge team to their first reserve title in 11 years, as captain of the side.
He joins a number of high-profile signings for the former ABC Motsepe team including Lyle Lakay, Samkelo Zwane, Miguel Timm, Brandon Theron and Ayanda Patosi.
A club statement read: "Moses Mphekgoane joins us on a season-long loan from Orlando Pirates.
"A young defender with plenty of ability and a big future ahead. We're excited to give him the platform to enjoy his football, express himself and contribute to our journey.
