Msendami scored his maiden goal for Pirates during their impressive 3-0 victory over Chippa United in a Betway Premiership encounter last Sunday.
The attacker joined the Soweto giants from Marumo Gallants ahead of the 2026/27 season but has found it difficult to secure a regular place in the starting line-up due to strong competition within the squad.
However, Ouaddou has been impressed by Msendami's attitude and believes his efforts on the training ground are now beginning to pay off.
The Pirates coach knows the Zimbabwean attacker well, having previously worked with him at Gallants, and remains confident that Msendami can play an important role for the Buccaneers.
"He's somebody who was dreaming to play for Pirates. I know coming into a big club like that, sometimes it's not easy. Sometimes you have to be patient because there is a lot of competition, but he gets there," said Ouaddou.
"He's holding, he's working and we start to see the benefit of his work. I was very happy about his goal. Like you said, it's very important for his confidence.
"But me, all the time I had this trust on him because I know him from a previous club and I know what he can bring for the club. He has a different profile regarding the other ones, but I'm sure we will be able to use him in different games."
The goal could provide Msendami with a timely confidence boost as he looks to establish himself at Pirates and earn more opportunities under Ouaddou.
Following their victory over Chippa, the Buccaneers now turn their attention to the MTN8, with a semifinal first-leg clash against Sekhukhune United awaiting them at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
