The 35-year-old star has been plying his trade with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli since joining them from Manchester City in 2023 following a trophy-laden spell in England.
According to Turkish broadcaster A Spor, Mahrez is in advanced negotiations with the Turkish giants, and an agreement could be finalized within the next few days.
Mahrez is under contract with Al Ahli until 2027 but is now likely to follow in the footsteps of former Leicester City teammate N'Golo Kante who moved to Fenerbahce from Saudi side Al Ittihad this season.
The tricky winger has made 23 appearances for his club this season under coach Matthias Jaissle, scoring four goals while providing seven assists.
