Kruger United claim first point at Gallants
Kruger United claimed their first point in South Africa's top-flight after playing out a goalless draw against Marumo Gallants at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
The visitors held on for the stalemate despite being reduced to 10 men in injury-time when defender Thendo Mukumela was sent off for second bookable offence.
It was first point of the season for Gallants, who will be disappointed to nit to have taken all three against the newly-promoted outfit.
Richards Bay come from behind to draw at Chippa
The KZN came from behind to play out a 1-1 draw against the Chilli Boys thanks to a second-half goal by Baggio Nashixwa at the Dobsonville Stadium.
The home team had taken the lead in the 23rd minute when Ntuthuko Mlotshwa found the back of the net.
The teams will return to league action this coming weekend, with Richards Bay away to Durban City on Saturday, and Chippa at home to Orlando Pirates the following day.
