The victory saw Pirates move within three points of Betway Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, keeping their title challenge firmly alive as the season heads into a decisive stage.
Chaine was the standout performer once again, recording his 19th clean sheet of the league campaign. That achievement sees him surpass Ronwen Williams' previous record of 18 clean sheets in a single season, etching his name into the league's history books.
Ouaddou, however, was quick to stress that the milestone was a result of collective effort rather than individual brilliance alone.
"You're right, Sipho Chaine has been doing a fantastic job since the beginning of the season. I'm very proud of him, but we really have to credit the whole team," Ouaddou told SuperSport after the match.
The Pirates coach praised his side's organisation and discipline, particularly without the ball, highlighting the structure that has made them difficult to break down.
"When you see this team from the stands, how they are able to work as a unit, to defend as a unit, very compact, it's not easy to score goals," he said.
Ouaddou also pointed to the balance in the squad as a key reason behind their strong campaign, noting that their attacking output has matched their defensive solidity.
"If you want to win the title you definitely need a strong defence but of course a good attacking animation because we don't speak about that," he added.
"We're a team that's scored a lot of goals as we… I think we have more than 50 goals."
With both ends of the pitch firing, Pirates remain firmly in the title race heading into the final stretch of the season.
