Barcelona title win triggers Dani Olmo 3-million Euros payment to RB Leipzig

Barcelona sealed the league crown with an impressive 2-0 victory over rivals Real Madrid, and the success has now benefited the Bundesliga side financially.

According to reports from Bild, the Spanish champions must pay Leipzig an additional three million euros after the title win activated a clause included in Olmo's transfer agreement.

The Spain international joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig for an initial fee of 55 million euros in August 2024. The agreement also included performance-related bonuses linked to Barcelona's success domestically.

Leipzig had already received a further three million euros when Barcelona won the league title previously, meaning the overall value of the transfer has now climbed to 61 million euros.

Olmo has become an important figure at Barcelona since returning to the club. The attacking midfielder has made 85 appearances in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 17 assists.

His creativity and versatility have played a major role in Barcelona's recent success, with the club continuing to build around a squad packed with experienced stars and emerging young talent.
