The two sides are set to meet three times within 10 days, with the cup semi-final ties surrounding a Betway Premiership encounter. The demanding schedule will test both squads, but Kaze appears ready to take a different approach against the defending champions.
Pirates have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign and head into the contest unbeaten in their last four matches across all competitions. However, Kaze believes Sekhukhune can cause problems if they execute their game plan effectively.
The Burundian coach has closely studied Pirates' performances and claims he has identified weaknesses that his side could exploit.
"My team has to be able to perform in any situation and any field we play on. I don't want to give away my secrets, but let's just say I've seen how other teams have dealt with them without success. I plan on going a different way," Kaze told the media.
The coach's confidence comes despite Sekhukhune not hitting their best form consistently in the opening stages of the season. Their recent 2-0 victory over Polokwane City, however, provided a timely boost ahead of the demanding run of fixtures.
With silverware firmly among their ambitions this season, Sekhukhune will view the MTN8 semi-final as an opportunity to make an early statement against one of the country's most successful sides.
Kaze also expects the playing conditions at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium to present another challenge. The surface could influence the tempo and quality of Saturday's encounter, but the Sekhukhune mentor insists his players must adapt.
"We just have to deal with what's in front of us. Seshego Stadium is not the best pitch we could've played on the other day but we managed to get some points, we just have to embrace the challenge again tomorrow," he said.
Rather than allowing external factors to affect his team, Kaze wants Sekhukhune to remain focused on executing their plan.
The first meeting could therefore set the tone for a fascinating 10-day battle, with Kaze hoping his tactical gamble gives Babina Noko an advantage over the reigning champions.
