The 27-year-old attacking midfielder joined the Brazilians in August last year from Portuguese side Boavista, arriving alongside compatriot Nuno Santos.

Reisinho was expected to add creativity and attacking quality to Sundowns' midfield. However, his time at the club never developed as expected.
The former Boavista midfielder endured a nightmare introduction to South African football when he was shown a red card just minutes into his Premier Soccer League (PSL) debut against Marumo Gallants in the Carling Knockout round of 16.
Despite that difficult start, Resinho remained part of the Sundowns squad and eventually made 14 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice.
Reisinho was unable to establish himself as a regular starter, with competition for places making it difficult for the left-footed midfielder to secure consistent playing time.
His final appearance for the club came in April, when Sundowns suffered a 2-0 defeat to TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup round of 16.
The midfielder subsequently fell out of the matchday squad during the closing stages of the season, leaving his future at Chloorkop increasingly uncertain.
While Reisinho struggled to make a lasting impact individually, he will nevertheless leave Sundowns with an important piece of silverware on his CV.
The Portuguese was part of the squad that lifted the CAF Champions League last season, giving him a continental winners' medal despite playing a limited role in the latter stages of the campaign.
His departure marks another change at Sundowns as the club continues to reshape its squad ahead of the new season.
