Malaga 1-1 Deportivo A Coruna
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored for Deportivo A Coruna, but Malaga fought back to earn a 1-1 draw at La Rosaleda.
Malaga were looking for their first points of the season after losing their opening match 2-0 to Atletico Madrid, while Deportivo were playing their first La Liga game of the campaign.
The hosts made the stronger start, with Juan Cruz forcing Deportivo goalkeeper Leo Roman into an early save from distance.
Deportivo gradually settled and took the lead when Aubameyang collected a clever pass from Luismi Cruz, rounded Alfonso Herrero and finished into the net.
It was Aubameyang's second goal in as many matches.
Malaga responded positively, with Chupe and Joaquin Munoz both seeing efforts blocked as the hosts searched for an equaliser.
They got their reward in the 34th minute when Rafita was brought down by Lucas Noubi inside the penalty area. Chupe stepped up and confidently converted the penalty to make it 1-1.
Deportivo almost restored their lead before half-time, but Aubameyang fired narrowly wide from a good position.
Malaga continued to control much of the possession after the break and came close through Izan Merino, who tested Roman from the edge of the area.
At the other end, Herrero made an important save to deny Aubameyang's angled effort.
The hosts had a huge chance to complete the comeback in the 76th minute, but Chupe headed against the crossbar from 12 yards when he appeared certain to score.
Malaga continued to press late on, with substitute Haitam Abaida going close from a free-kick and Chupe firing over from distance.
Deportivo held firm to take a point from their opening match, while Malaga finally got off the mark after their defeat by Atletico.

Osasuna and Levante could not find a breakthrough as they shared a goalless draw at El Sadar.
Osasuna were playing their first match of the season, while Levante were looking to respond after losing their opening game against Espanyol.
Osasuna started brightly and almost took the lead when Jorge Herrando directed a dangerous header towards goal, but Mathew Ryan reacted quickly to tip the ball over the crossbar.
The hosts dominated possession but struggled to create clear chances as Levante defended patiently.
The visitors then came close with their first serious attack. Enzo Bardeli delivered a precise cross towards Roger Brugué, but the Levante captain's volley struck the crossbar.
The game opened up after that opportunity and Ryan was forced into another good save before half-time, pushing Jon Moncayola's curling effort away.
The Australian goalkeeper remained in excellent form after the break, diving to his right to deny Ante Budimir's powerful header.
Budimir looked to have finally beaten Ryan shortly before the hour mark when he rounded the goalkeeper, but his effort hit the post before Aïssa Mandi helped clear the danger.
That proved to be a crucial moment as Osasuna struggled to regain their attacking momentum.
Neither side could find a winning goal in the closing stages, leaving Osasuna with a point from their opening match and Levante with their first point after their defeat by Espanyol.
