With the NBA off season set to go on until October – the trade season is serving some enticing deals with teams looking to strengthen with big name players

LA Lakers:

With the 2025-2026 NBA season looking to be the last season in LA for 40-year-old superstar Lebron James – the team has strengthened its depth and enhanced its title credentials with a series of trades.

  • Marcus Smart – Lakers have signed guard Marcus Smart to a contract from Memphis Grizzlies
  • DeAndre Ayton – Lakers have signed center DeAndre Ayton to a contract from Portland Trailblazers

Atlanta Hawks:

  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker – The Hawks have received Alexander-Walker from the Minesota Timberwolves
  • Kristaps Porzingis – The Hawks have received center Porzingis from the Boston Celtics
  • Luke Kennard – The Hawks signed Kennard to a contract

Boston Celtics:

  • Anfernee Simons – Boston received guard Simons from the Portland Trailblazers as it looks to survive without superstar Jayson Tatum

Brooklyn Nets:

  • Michael Porter Jr – The Nets received Porter Jr from the Denver Nuggets
  • Terrance Mann – The Nets also received Terrance Mann from the Atlanta Hawks

Charlotte Hornets:

  • Spencer Dinwiddie – The Hornets have signed guard Dinwiddie to a contract
  • Mason Plumlee – Charlotte also acquired Pumlee and signed him to a contract
  • Collin Sexton – The Hornets received guard Sexton the Utah Jazz

Chicago Bulls:

  • Yuki Kawamura – Bulls have signed Yuki Kawamura to a two-way contract

Cleveland Cavaliers

  • Lonzo Ball – The Cavs received guard Lonzo Ball from the Chicago Bulls

Dallas Mavericks:

Following the dramatic trade of former superstar Luka Doncic to the Lakers – Mavericks have acquired big names in a bid to re-position themselves as a playoff contender.

  • Cooper Flag – The Mavericks signed rookie Flag from the NBA Draft
  • D’Angelo Russel – Dallas also signed guard Russel from the Brookyln Nets

Denver Nuggets:

  • Bruce Brown – Denver have signed guard Bruce Brown to a contract
  • Tim Hardaway Jr – Nuggets have signed guard Hardaway Jr to a contract

Detroit Pistons:

  • Duncan Robinson – The Pistons have received Robinson from the Miami Heat
  • Caris Levert – Detroit signed Levert to a contract

Golden State Warriors:

Houston Rockets:

The Rockets have made a blockbuster trade by securing 2x NBA champion Kevin Durant which has seen them immediately turn into playoff contenders. Houston gave up some of their young stars to accommodate Durant.

  • Kevin Durant – Houston received forward Kevin Durant from Phoenix Suns
  • Clint Capela – The Rockets received center Capela from the Atlanta Hawks

Miami Heat:

  • Norman Powell – Miami received guard Powell from LA Clippers

Milwaukee Bucks:

  • Myles Turner – Bucks signed center Turner from the Indiana Pacers
  • Kevin Porter Jr – Bucks signed Porter Jr to a contract
  • Cole Anthony – After being waived by Memphis – the Bucks signed Anthony to a contract

  • Jordan Poole – New Orleans received guard Poole from the Washington Wizards
  • Saddiq Bey – The Pelicans also received Bey from Washington
