The Germany defender said the squad believes last season's achievements were built on hard work, unity and a commitment to improving every day.

"We want to pick up where we left off last season," Tah told Sky Germany.

"We all felt it was a very special campaign, and that was because we worked hard on ourselves from day one and gave everything in every single match."

Tah said Bayern stayed together through difficult moments, even when performances were not always at their best.

"Even when things weren't always perfect, smooth, or clicking, we always managed to stick together as a team and create an atmosphere that made us feel we could achieve anything," he said.

The centre-back believes there is always room for improvement, but he is focused on refining the finer details of his game rather than making major changes.

"In the end, it's always the little details you can work on. I wouldn't say there was one aspect where I felt I was clearly lacking or where I'd say, 'That's simply not good enough,'" Tah said.

"It's more about refining the details. In football, especially in the biggest and most important matches, it's those fine margins that make the difference."

He added that Bayern's players will continue working together to improve as a team while also focusing on individual development.

"That's why it's so important to keep working on them. We'll do that together as a team, and I'll do it on a personal level as well," he said.

Tah also hopes to take on an even bigger leadership role during the 2026-27 season.

"I also want to continue building on the role I've taken on here and the one I want to have, by taking on even more responsibility and helping the team win matches," he said.
