Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates Set To Unleash Their New Sta'Playa's During Their Tours Of Europe

The management of Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, have been hard at work recently, strengthening their squads for the new seasons.

Pirates have announced nine new players in the last two weeks, while Chiefs have boosted their personnel with five players as of Thursday night.

The two sides are expected to unleash their new depth during the tours of Europe as Chiefs flew out to the Netherlands on Thursday, while Pirates will visit Spain on Tuesday.

But before the teams can settle in their respective campaign, SuperSportBet looks at new players who can make a difference for their respective sides during their tours and next season.

Sipho Mbule - Pirates

The transfer window only officially opened this month, but Mbule has been widely regarded as the marquee signing of the pre-season for Pirates.

Mbule is one of the most talented footballers in the land, thanks to his skillset which include dribbling, passing and eye for goal.

So should he solely focus on his career at Pirates, and cut off his outward behaviour tendencies, he could very well lead Pirates’ title charge next season.

Oswin Appollis - Pirates

The arrival of Appollis at Pirates this week shocked the masses as he was reportedly on the radar of arch-rivals, Chiefs, just like Mbule, for quite some time.

The former Polokwane City winger didn’t have the best season for Rise and Shine in terms of numbers last season after scoring two goals in 26 league matches.

But his abilities in the final third are undeniable. Not only can he run at defenders with his pace, but he can also dribble and link up play when he’s on form.

Thabiso Monyane - Chiefs

After arriving at Pirates as a 13-year-old, Monyane traded the famous black and white jersey of Pirates for the famous gold and black jersey of Amakhosi this week.

The wing-back was released by his boyhood club on the back falling down in the pecking order after a string of injuries haunted him last season.

But should he stay injury-free at Chiefs next season, he’ll be a good addition in coach Nasreddine Nabi’s team as he’s explosive down the wing and has an eye for goal.

Ethan Chislett - Chiefs

The Durban born Chislett heeded the call to come back home this winter after spending the better part of his career and life in England.

While he returns largely as a surprise package in coach Nabi team’s, videos of him have been making rounds on social media.

The 26-year-old is a dead piece specialist and can run at defenders, be it coming from the middle or the sides of the pitch.

Tshepang Moremi - Pirates

Joining Pirates is a dream come true for Moremi as he’s always been a staunch supporter of the club from a young age.

He arrives at Pirates at the perfect time as the team is going through a revamping phase, largely building their structure around young players.

Moremi is expected to fit like a glove in the system of new coach Abdeslam Ouaddou as he can score goals and use his pace on the wing to create goals for his teammates.
