The Chilli Boys are currently winless in their last three matches which includes a 5-1 drubbing at AmaZulu last month.
Club owner Chippa Mpengesi has decided to part ways with head coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi, who had previously been Technical Director at the club in 2023.
Vilakazi is the third coach to leave the club this season after Luc Eymael and Sinethemba Badela, with assistant coach Hlanga Dikeni touted to lead the team until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The Eastern Cape outfit are in 13th position on the table, only three points ahead of bottom of the table Magesi, with three matches to go for all the teams fighting to avoid relegation.
Chippa will face TS Galaxy, Golden Arrows and Kaizer Chiefs in their last three matches of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership.
