Chiefs currently sit third in the Betway Premiership and are pushing for a top-three finish after another season without silverware.
The Soweto giants have also missed out on CAF competition qualification and have fallen short in the league title race, but there has been a noticeable improvement in results under the current technical team.
In recent weeks, Chiefs have shown encouraging form, winning five matches and drawing one of their last six league outings. This run has helped them recover from disappointing back-to-back finishes of 10th and ninth place in the previous two seasons, signalling a step forward in their overall performance.
Despite this improvement, uncertainty still surrounds the long-term future of Kaze and Ben Youssef.
While some supporters and analysts believe the pair have done enough to earn permanent contracts following the departure of former head coach Nasreddine Nabi, others argue that Chiefs should still look for a more experienced, proven winner to lead the team.
Speaking to Independent Media, Ertugral strongly advised the club to maintain stability rather than make another coaching change.
"From a sporting director's perspective, I would continue with these coaches. There's been improvement. There's been a lot of instability at Chiefs - players and coaches have come and gone," he said.
He stressed that continuity is key for a club still rebuilding its identity, saying: "If you want to maintain success, you keep important elements together. If Chiefs strengthen where they are weak, they'll be fine."
Ertugral also warned against the pressure of external opinions, noting that Chiefs will always attract criticism regardless of decisions taken.
"In the end, there's always outside noise. But momentum and stability will help the team more," he added.
He concluded by questioning whether another coaching change would truly benefit the club, insisting that the current duo have already shown enough to deserve more time.
