The Citizens secured their final place with a 1-0 win over Casric Stars as the Rockets overcame Milford FC 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
The PSL have chosen to host the final in Polokwane after last season's competition final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban where Kaizer Chiefs ended their long wait for a trophy with victory over rivals Orlando Pirates.
"The stage is set, Durban City FC and TS GALAXY FC will face off in the NedbankCup final on Saturday, 2 May at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
"Kick-off time is to be confirmed," posted the league.
