Dladla has overseen an encouraging spell at Abafana Bes'thende, guiding the team to the MTN8 semi-finals before their campaign was ended by Mamelodi Sundowns.
Arrows had gone six matches without conceding before their defensive resilience was finally breached in the second leg against Sundowns. They suffered a 3-2 defeat, ending their hopes of reaching the MTN8 final.
In the Betway Premiership, Dladla's side have collected six points from their opening four matches as the coach continues to shape the team according to his ideas.
Despite the challenges that come with taking charge of a new club, Dladla believes he has benefited from the foundation already established at Golden Arrows.
The coach says the club's blueprint provides clarity for both the coaching staff and players, particularly when it comes to the style of football expected at the Durban-based outfit.
"Us as coaches, we need to improve the team every time and I believe that we're doing that," said Dladla, as quoted by iDiski Times.
"But then, another thing that's helping us for the team and individuals to improve is that Golden Arrows has a blueprint.
"When you arrive here, there's a clear blueprint that tells you what kind of the game you can play with the type of players the club brings.
"So, there's no type of football that we can play except the one we're playing. I think the culture of Golden Arrows helps as a new coach for you to know what to do."
Dladla will now get another opportunity to test the progress made under his leadership when Arrows face Sundowns again on Sunday.
Unlike their recent MTN8 encounter, this meeting will be a league fixture, with the two sides set to battle it out at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
Arrows will be hoping to turn their recent cup disappointment into league motivation when they come up against the reigning champions.
