The 19-year-old starred for the Motsepe Foundation Championship side last season as they secured promotion from the Western Cape ABC Motsepe League.
A former Cape Town Spurs youth product, Chaney was reportedly being chased by a number of top-flight clubs but had an easy decision to make when the Buccaneers came calling.
