
The Lions of Teranga have been drawn in a strong group at the global showpiece and will play France, Norway and Iraq when the competition kicks off in June.
They come into the tournament still reeling from the Confederation of African Football's decision to strip them of their recent Africa Cup of Nations title win.
This is the nation's fourth appearance at the finals, and they followed up a quarter-final showing in their first tournament in 2002, with a group stage exit in 2018, and progression to the Round of 16 in Qatar in 2022.
Thiaw has opted to retain the core of his experienced players including Sadio Mane, Idrissa Geuye, Kalildou Koulibaly and Eduaord Mendy.
Senegal play the United States and Saudi Arabia in friendlies prior to the tournament, by which time two player must be trimmed from the squad.
