Algeria midfielder Adem Zorgane open to Union SG exit, after league and cup double

The 26-year-old Algerian international is enjoying a strong debut season with Union following his switch from Royal Charleroi.

His side are fighting for the Belgian Pro League title, currently in second place behind Club Brugge in the group stage of the season.

They are also in the Belgian Cup where they face Anderlecht at the King Baudouin Stadium on May 14.

Zorgane's performances have attracted the attentions of a number of clubs throughout Europe, and the player admits he would be open to a move.

His current Union contract run until 2029.

The player told Het Nieuwsblad: "It's true that I always want to improve and that I have certain individual goals.

"Let's get two trophies here first, and then we'll see. My best years are coming now."

"I hope we can complete the double, because then, in one year, I will have won the title, won the Cup, played in the Champions League, competed in the AFCON and a World Cup. 

"You can't do better!" he said.
