Ouaddou urges Dansin to ignore hype after Orlando Pirates beat Milford

The 21-year-old midfielder put in an impressive display against the Betway Premiership as AmaBhakaniya claimed a 2-0 win at Orlando Amstel Arena.

He had already put in solid displays during the recent pre-season tour in Spain, with the coach giving him a chance to wear the captain's armband in the 1-0 victory against Spanish Segunda side UD Las Palmas.

"We have to be very careful, I have been in the business for a while, but the boy is doing well," said Ouaddou after the match.

"We took time to bring this young talent in, you remember last season, I didn't hesitate to put him in a very big game against Sundowns, and he scored a fantastic goal.

"I want to be very cautious about the media, about us, not to put this boy quickly high because a career is long, he's doing well, and we'll give him all our trust, all our help to bring him to the high level."

Dansin is expected to play a bigger role in the squad this season, with Pirates looking to defend three trophies from last season, while also competing to win the CAF Champions League.

"The boy still needs a lot of work to get to the highest level but at the moment he is doing very well," added the Moroccan mentor.

"Dansin will [need to] meet a lot of humility, not to listen to what people say outside the environment [at the club] because he can quickly lose himself and we're here to help him."

The Buccaneers will face AmaZulu in their next Betway Premiership clash on 12 August.
